Privacy
DutyHourCheck checks your schedule in your web browser. Schedules you paste or upload are processed on your device and are not sent to us.
Calendar links. When you load a calendar link (from ShiftAdmin, QGenda, Amion or similar), your browser first tries to read it directly. Most schedulers block that, so the request then goes through our relay, a small program on Cloudflare's network. The relay fetches the link, checks that the response is a calendar, and passes it straight back to your browser. It does not save the link or the calendar, has no database, and request logging is turned off. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, processes the request in transit under its own privacy policy. The relay refuses private and local network addresses and limits how often each network address can use it.
Saved schedules, links and shift-type settings (Pro) live only in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
When you buy Pro, payment is handled by our payment provider (merchant of record), which receives your name, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. When you activate a license, your browser sends only the license key to the provider's license server to confirm it's valid.
No analytics, ads, or tracking cookies are used on this site. If that changes, this page will say so first.
Not medical, legal or compliance advice
DutyHourCheck is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ACGME or by any scheduling vendor. It checks schedules against a plain-language reading of the ACGME Common Program Requirements and specialty requirements. It can be wrong or out of date, and your program may apply stricter or different rules. Your program director, GME office, and the official ACGME requirements are the authority. Don't enter patient information.
Calendar links are private to you. Only load links you're allowed to use. Some (for example Amion) contain your group's login, so don't share them.
Refunds
If Pro isn't useful to you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the link in your receipt and won't renew.
